If you’re at the beginning of your journey to get out of the Auto mode on your camera you need to get your head around the 3 key elements of creating a well exposed image. These elements are often called ‘The Exposure Triangle‘. The elements are Shutter Speed, Aperture and ISO.

Understand what they are and the impact that they have upon an image and you’re one big step closer to your goal of gaining creative control over your camera.
