Within the Frame: First Impression Book Review

PS: Since recording this video I’ve been digging further into ‘Within the Frame’ and I am really enjoying it. I particularly enjoy David’s ability to go beyond technique and give us a glimpse into what’s going on in the mind of the photographer while taking a shot.
There’s something about this book – it goes beyond just engaging the reader on a theoretical level (treating them as a technician) and it engages the reader at a ‘heart’ level – as an artist.

That is great.
This is no doubt a great book and a great resource for photographers like myself.
I would rather work on a heart to heart level rather than from a tech perspective.
some of the best creations come from outside of the book and follow the heart…

I actualy had a chance to check out this book at Barns & Nobal a few weeks back and had read a couple of chapters. What I found was a photography book that totaly kept my intrest and realy inspired the artist in me.
Theres a place for all books on photography of caurse, but this one fills the artistic side. I hope to be an owner of this book soon.
