This is a mistake right
Travel- entries open from 29/12/10 to midday GMT on the 04/12/10 ?
04/12/10 is a little confusing
Was it 04/01/11 ?
And sports should be 05/01/11 ?

Mya – the format used for the dates are day, month, year — so 04/12/10 is 4 December 2010. So the sports category is open now – thru the 11th of Jan, 2011. Hope this helps — Cheers.

I think you’re right Mya. The dates for the travel category make no sense regardless of whether they’re in ddmmyy or mmddyy format.
I would assume it means 4th and 5th Jan 2011 rather than Dec 2010.

The dates of the last 2 entries seems a little “off”.

I’m actually in the Flickr site now – and it appears you guys are correct. Sports begins on 5 Jan (not 5 Dec).

Do you have to have a flicker account? Is the Sony NEX5 the only prize?

Can we compete with photos already posted (say, months ago) to flickr?

Yes, we can: http://www.flickr.com/groups/sonyphotochallenge/discuss/72157625613131806/

Okay I’m totally confused too. When I go to the “Nature” thread via the link above it opens to a page that doesn’t have any indication that it is for submitting nature photos and there are photos in there that are obviously not nature related. Then when I tried to upload the photos I want to enter I get this message:
“None of the items you’ve selected can be added to the group, because they’re either already in the group, in too many groups, or they don’t follow the rules of this group.”
Well I haven’t added them to ANY groups and the only rules I can find anywhere is through the terms and conditions link above. I tagged them as stated above and included “nature” in the tag as well. Does anyone have a clue what I’m doing wrong?
