This weekend your photography challenge is to take and share a photo that fits into the theme of ‘Good Morning’.

It might be a picture of the first thing you see in the morning (have your camera next to your bed for this), it could be a picture of your perfect good morning, it could be a shot of you in the mirror just after waking up, it could be a sunrise, it could be what you see out of your window as you have breakfast, it could be…. well anything really. Use your imagination, use your humour, use your creativity – but most of all, take a photo and share it with us!

We’d love your shot to be a new one – don’t just share old shots, this challenge is about inspiring you to grab your camera and use it!

Once you’ve taken your photos – choose your best 1-2, upload them to your favourite photo sharing site either share a link to them even better – embed them in the comments using the our new tool to do so.

If you tag your photos on Flickr, Twitter or other sites with Tagging tag them as #DPSMORNING to help others find them. Linking back to this page might also help others know what you’re doing so that they can share in the fun.
