Default How to shoot live concerts / gigs

I checked with Darren if it was ok to post this (and it is). I have a guest post on my blog over at DigMo! covering how to shoot live music gigs.

Concert Photo Guide | DigMo!

Hope you all like it,

Thanks for this, digmo. I'm actually shooting my first concert tomorrow evening, so this couldn't have come at a better time. It's a local band, but it should be a fun/learning experience. Plus, I'm going to be shooting at a larger concert in a couple weeks. I'm excited, and I hope I get some decent results.

Your blog definitely helped in getting some idea of where to start as far as camera settings go. Thanks!

This is awesome, I look forward to reading the tutorial. I'm a concert photographer, one of my new recent hobbies since I started working with venues. Ive been a photographer since I was 16... and have always worked with bands but ever since I switched my film SLR to a Nikon D90 I have been focusing more on concert photography more so than ever before!

THanks for sharing this!
