Also, dont be afraid to get down and dirty for the shot hehe

EDIT: Also, what settings do you usually shoot at for rolling shots? I usually just mess around until I can get a few good ones.
It depends on the light and the amount of motion you want. Generally 1/40 to 1/60 and compensate the amount of light let in with the f stop

Just a couple from last month re-sized for forum constraints

Not too much editing. A little sharpening while in RAW mode. That's about it.

I've found that typically water and woods rarely make for good backgrounds.

Here's your pic WB adjusted :-) (I hope you don't mind my tinkering with your image?)

Also, here's another frozen badge, perhaps we should begin a collection

Nope, I don't mind at all. I'm surprised that it was savable, looks really good. I shot it at about 1am and the only light was from some street lights through thick fog. Suppose I should quit being lazy and just shoot RAW then I won't have to worry about bad shots like that.

That Porsche emblem is great too! I like the idea of starting a collection of these pictures. Not just car emblems, but interesting frosted up items in general.

What can I say? It was a get together at a park with not too many other places ideal for setting up. Sometimes you make do. Besides, some prefer that kind of background.
The owner was pleased....
