There's Rochester Institute of Technology (KodaK) (RIT).
Brooks
Art Institute of Seattle, Atlanta, Pittsburg.
There's Photojournalism type schools, San Jose State, Syracuse, Missouri, U of Kansas,
Ohio State, U of Florida...many of your most major colleges have photojournalism programs.

Jim,

I have a bump in the road in ref to education. Unfortunately where I am located there are no formal classes offered in Okinawa, Japan. Not I do not speak Japanese so I am not able to go to local facilities. I did take a class given thru the base Arts and Craft Center but thats it. I have called local photographers to offer my "free" services in exchange for learning but that also panned out with a zero result. Most stated they didn't need anyone. Is there a online school that is accredited to get a photography degree?

Thank you for all the great reads! ~DB

I also checked out the library they have 3 books that are ancient.

I,ve always wondered,"dont hit on the models".
Must be hard, your a man, they are georgeous models, must be very tempting..
Although I must admit, from my own small experience, once you start shooting, you do attend to forget such details and concentrate on the job at hand.

They're there to do a job and so are you - If you're doing your job properly, despite the fact that you may have a terribly hot, semi dressed woman (or man) in front of you, you zone out and focus (boom boom) on the job at hand. The other thing to keep in mind - You hit on a model, they're a pretty close knit community - "you'll never work again in this town" if it all goes wrong.

my 3 cents...
