My wife and I was talking and she agreed. It was fantastic. Now is the next delimna. She is a professional educator and is known very well so some of the risque pics that I want to post I am unable to. Would you suggest that I post them to a secure site and as I build my portfolio only show to those that are seriously interested in that genre of pics to help promote? I am less inclined to show them to other men as this is my wife.I am ok with other women looking.

To be honest, I'd be inclined to keep them for yourself. Once you publish a picture, you lose complete control and those images could cause trouble later on down the line. If you've got doubts, hang onto those images, at least for now.

This was very interesting to read.
Not just the article itself, but also the follow ups.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the tips. This was a very helpful article. I have experimented in this realm and believe that everything you said applies 100%. I am looking forward to gaining access to the other parts of this series.

Thanks for allowing me to rant and offering such a valuable resource as this.

Well, I guess I'm one post closer to getting in!

hehe, and as of 2010-11-01 your little bio above your post indicates you have 120 posts. Looks like you've found something to contribute

I was feeling the same way when I asked for access to the Nude section of the forums, and found out the requirements. But, the more I read through the rest of the forums with an eye towards learning (instead of the previous casual interest), the more I am finding to comment upon.

I agree with wulf on this one: Save those pics for yourself.

If you really like the way they turned out, maybe get a model to help you replicate the images. With some careful edits, I'm sure you could use your current photos in an offline portfolio to show the model what you would like to accomplish, without revealing your wife's identity.

Finally, @arkhamrefugee, thank you for your post. I'm hoping I will be able to access the restricted section soon to read any additional material you have posted.

Great article. I had often heard from photographers that do nudes and the like that instead of the photographers studio, it often helps to goto the clients choise of destination, maybe a hotel in their town or their house. I know it's a hassle to bring all the gear, but if the shoot turns out to be great, it's worth it IMHO. Do you have any feedback towards location?
