Default How can I post my tutorials?

I created a tutorials blog some time ago and posted here thinking everyone would find it useful but it apparently goes against the rules of the DPS forums, so my question is how can I post the tutorials I have in my blog without breaking the rules?

Thanks

Hi, Thanks... You can copy and paste your tutorials on DPS with a link back to your blog if you'd like.

josealb - thanks for your interest in sharing these tutorials.

As Sime says - you can copy and paste them here with a link back - however I'd actually suggest you don't - and consider rewriting them if you want to share them here.

Here's why:

The main reason is that when Google sees the same content in multiple places on the web it calls it 'duplicate content'. It doesn't like this and only indexes one of the pages and penalyzes the other one. This means that either your original post or DPS's post will be ranked well and the other one penalyzed. There's actually a risk for your own being hurt by this as DPS is ranked pretty well by Google.

So for your sake and DPS's the best thing you can do is rewrite your tutorials to share here. You can still have the same points etc - but taking the time to rewrite them means neither DPS or your blog will be hurt.

I know copy and pasting would be easier but it'll do both our sites best not to do that.

Hope that answers your question - let me know if you need further clarification.

Dawren I never really thought of that point. I guess i'll have to post some articles on DPS only because rewriting them will be too boring

Thanks for your interest
