hi, folks!! kindly give me some ideas about the settings of portrait and lanscape (manual settings). thanks in advance..

Considering your question, "auto" is my answer.

Or f/8 1/125 coupled with knowledge as to what that means and how to change it to achieve your desired effect.

Can you be a BIT more specific, geesh.

You may find this DPS tute helpful.
It will give you a basic understanding of how to set your camera up for different shooting conditions, including portraits and landscapes.
