Thumbs up

I'm new to the site, so I'm late to this thread. Thank you, Richard for the tutorials!!!

I'm learning my way from simply 'taking pretty pictures', to a better understanding of how and why things really work. I look forward to the journey of taking better and better shots as I refine my skill along the way! I appreciate your straight-forward explanations; they are just what I was hoping for!

I currently have a bridge camera (Panasonic DMZ-FZ7). It's flexible enough to challenge me to learn and keep me happy while I ramp up to make the leap to full DSLR.

Thanks Lyza
I don't always use a DSLR. I sometimes shoot with a Canon G11 P&S.

Yes thanks much for taking the time to write things out that are easy to read and follow.

I definitely appreciate all of the pointers you have given me in my very short time of coming here.

I think there is a need to understand crop factor and focal length as well.
