Hey everyone - I was considering buying some DVD's to learn about photography (everything from intro to dslr to advanced techniques and beyond); however, I was encouraged to post here and ask you guys to share some free resources with me.
So what websites have helped you the most? I would really prefer video tutorials (because I'm a visual learner), but anything will do as long as it is explained thoroughly. I either find scattered tidbits, expensive resources or the free ones are fully of jargon that I can't understand (after 1.5yrs of photography) and they seem to skip to "look at my beautiful shot that I didn't really explain....now buy my DVDs). |

In addition to dPS, this one has been most beneficial to me, Cambridge in Colour - Photography Tutorials & Learning Community

You Tube has tutorials on everything. The "You Suck at Photoshop" series is very entertaining as well as informative.
