Default exposure bracketing - does camera take 3 pictures automatically

Hi.
Exposure bracketing in Canon XSI - does the camera take 3 pictures automatically or i have to manually press shutter 3 times ???

So far what i see is i have to manually press shutter 3 times. Sound stupid because it must be automatically. Please help me understand how to do it step by step.

Found this:

does not sound very good because if object moves then how can i combine in HDR ? Then i only have to do still images.

No. That's the way it's supposed to work. You still have to take the three pictures. You can put the camera into continuous burst mode, and just hold your finger down for the three shots, though.

Yup. That's always an issue with techniques like panostitching and HDR where you take multiple images. Either you learn to use masks/alpha channels in Photoshop to eliminate ghosts/clones or you "fake" HDR, using a single RAW file and faked under/over exposure shots.

The only way around this is to buy a Fuji P&S camera, iirc.
