Default Great article

Well written and informative. All the tips are great but the light tent is the best tip for me. Funny, I've used one indoors for still life and never thought about bringing one outdoors. I love the photo, by the way and it validates your writing.

Say, is it feasible to use the extension tubes in conjunction with a macro lens? I don't own either yet but am now anxious to.

Thanks for the kind words!! Yes you can get really close using both the macro and extension tubes together, the shot above was taken using a 100mm macro and 36mm extension tube in combination.

Do extension tubes add anything to Macro lenses?

Nope, there is no glass in the extension tube, it just adds space between the sensor and lens allowing you to focus closer.
