Default stained glass

Took a few shots of a stained glass window today, needed one for a project.

This window goes from the church foundation to the roof line and is two stories tall. I went up into the loft right in front of the window to take the pictures, I thought I'd be high enough to get it straight.

I was wrong even in the loft with the tripod as tall as I could get it (camera over my head!) I still had to tilt up to get the shot. Hope the distortion from looking up isn't too distracting.

You can see the whole set here.

Nothing distracting about it at all. Great shot. I love stained glass. I have taken bunches of pics of it myself. Well done...

Thank you! This is the first time I've taken shots of stained glass, I was happy with the way they turned out.

I prefer to look up at stain glass... it's more majestic that way... or am I just strange? Wait, don't answer that question....

I like it.

Thank you! I'm thinking when the weather warms up again I'll try to get a good shot from the outside and see if I can get the whole window. I had to hurry today there was a family coming in to plan a funeral. I have the worse timing!
