Default High Key Attempt

I seen this on another site and wanted to give it a try. I have no idea if I did it right. I just tried to push the exposure as high as I could without blowing out the highlights. Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

Frank

Frank,

If you want to know what is and isn't high key photography, the great portraitist and educator, DPS member Benji has a great explanation here.

I will have to find another way to shoot it. That is a nice lightning setup he has. He does take great images. I have a long way to go.

Thanks for the link

Yes, compared to Benji, we all have a long way to go. It's a fun journey, though.

Nice setup? Oh, yes, and that's just his high key room!

By Benji's definitions what you would have there would be a high contrast B&W image. Not that that matters for your actual image, which is very nice, btw.
