Default Stereoscope Black and White & My 10 yr old!

I'm still going through my Great Aunts things. I took this stereoscope to the Antiques Roadshow when they were in Reno, NV in 2005. I don't remember how much they said it was worth. I have 51 cards that go with it. Dated from 1901-1905. The stereoscope has a date of June 11, 1901.

Day 19 take two~Stereoscope

Yesterday was my daughter's 10th birthday!! I had a crazy day at the roller skating rink and 4 girls that stayed the night!! Needless to say, I'm glad it's over!!

I like both of these shots, Breanna. I am partial to the B&W shot as that is one of my favorite mediums. Cheers.

Brilliant captures Breanna, the lighting in both is spot on. I like them both.

That shot of the Stereoscope in black and white has some great contrast. The small pictures themselves each tell a story. Love the shot

Two wonderful photos, Bre! I love the look on your daughter's face. Ten is such a great age -- hope you (and she) enjoy every minute of it. And the B&W of the old stereoscope is a beautiful still life -- what a treasure. Thanks for sharing these.

Thank you everyone!!! I really enjoy reading everyone's comments. Honestly, they make my day!!

I'm definately fond of the B&W for the older things. I have a few more treasures from my Great Aunt that I will be sharing in the next couple of days!

Both are beautiful but I'm prone to the power of vintage, so I'm loving the first shot a little more.
That stereoscope is a charming piece of history.

I'm really enjoying the pictures of the treasures from your aunt. Such interesting things and you've taken beautiful pictures of them.

My daughter turned 10 a few months ago . . . I think I may have heard the volume/pitch of your five girls together all the way on the east coast. There is no other sound like it (thank goodness!). I'm sure they had a great time and that you're still recovering.

I really like these shots.
The stereoscope shot is cool.
And I love the lighting on your daughter's face from the birthday candles.
Very cool
