Default Lost Creek Waterfalls

Well, I finally got out to shoot some photos today. I went with a couple of club members to the Mission area to shoot some waterfalls. I may decide to ust the B&W version for a digital competition, but I am not sure which one I like better, the colour or B&W version. Let me know what you think. Here they are. I hope you enjoy them, and thanks for stopping in!

Default Color!

This is a great shot, nice exposure. I love the color one very much. This shot has some great colors in it as well as the water itself. It would be a shame to convert it to b&w. But thats just my opinion!

I prefer the color. They are both really good.

Beautiful shot - I prefer the colour as well. While the B+W is nice it just doesn't have the same impact for me as the colour.

Really beautiful Paul. Love the silky waters. I love both versions, but I have to say that the spectrum of colours that you've achieved in the colour version is striking - I think it adds something extra to the impact factor of this photo.

I love these Paul...they are lovely.

I just spent a few days in the hospital and had lots of tests, no answers but a lot eliminated. Thanks for asking.

Than you so much Leona. I am glad to hear that they are trying to narrow things down. Hang in there.

I like the first one, mostly because of the details in the rocks.

Lovely shot maybe a crop down to remove bridge for the competition? hard to decide from the B&W or the colour though but I am edging toward the colour.. love the pool at the bottom

Thanks Breanna. It is looking like the colour shot is taking the B&W shot. Thanks again for your input.

Hi FoG. I totally hear what you are saying, but cropping the bridge out, which definitely was something I considered in this shot, would also end up cropping the large rock on the upper right-hand side of the fall, and I am not sure if that will help things. I also worry about cropping too tightly to the fall and losing a little of the context of the shot. I will deliberate that option, and thanks for thinking of it.
