Here's some pictures I took of Colin this weekend wrestling in the 103 pound weight class at the SK Invite. His team, the wolves took First place with 237 points. He wrestled four times pinning two opponents in the first round and his third opponent in the third round. Unfortunately for him, he ended up wrestling a kid, who placed fourth at State last year and he lost the championship match 10-9. But, second place isn't bad and so far he's 25 and five on the season.

Hiyas Jim,
First off congrads to Colin, he's a Champion in my eyes. I wrestled a little bit in high school and it's a tough sport, very hard pactices and your out on the mat all alone. I'm sorry to say I wasn't very good lol. But what really put a smile on my face with this post is, it's gotta feel really good for you to see him doing well and shooting the photos for yourself and your family, rather then a client ( I know you supply the newspapers with the local events ) but this is personal, so it's gotta be really cool for you. Always like viewing and learning from your posts, thanks much for sharing some of the meet with us. Vin

Thanks for all the nice comments....even with the line through the photos
![]() Vin.........I wrestled in high school too and was good I showed him a few moves the other night that our coaches (Japanese Olympic wrestlers) showed us when I wrestled while attending high school in Japan from 1967 to 1970. Our high school team took the All Far East Championships six years in a row. He used a few of them on the fella that took first place. He wants me to teach him some more to get ready for Sub Regional and Regional championships that will be held in February.

I'm there for various purposes. Firstly to capture the images to put up on a website to sell to parents and secondly, it keeps me from making a fool of myself trying to coach my son
