Default A sign of things to come.

Hello my DPS family. Well, I've been stuck in the house all week having some work done. So it was out in the garden with my new 50mm lens to see what I could find.
I found a sign of things to come. Signs of Spring in January. I hope you enjoy.

Dave, a stunningly simple way to get the change of season that has begun for you .. love the DoF and composition, the little blush of colour in the buds make this complete .

Default Simplicity at it's Best.

Thanks for the picture of hope. The simplicity in the shot is wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Dave, how wonderful. I love the contrasting colors -- the coral buds against the wintry blue background. This indeed is how spring begins, simply, quietly, seen only by those who pay attention! Thanks for sharing this one with us -- a week of winter rain here, and I'm longing for spring!

Dave, I like the red of the buds against the blue of the background, a very nice and pleasing color pallette. In addition, in the background I see what looks like the framing of a window, which adds interest to the background as well as a pleasing "homey" feel, like when spring comes, all I need to do is to throw open the sash and enjoy the view.
