Default A cold sunny day in Canada's Capital

It was a beautiful sunny -2 so I thought I'd go out and try and put some of the composition lessons I've learned on here (remembering my triangles and curves) as well as practise with my new lens for my first macro-ish shots. Thought I'd share a few.

A snowy fence line - some very subtle curves to the snow near the two posts.

I'm calling this one winter cotton - lots of curves.

Playing with my new lens and depth of field.

And finally this one made me laugh when I saw it. Is it summer yet?

Summer?

Thanks for taking the time to look!

The third shots DoF is really very well done, good shots all around though.

Thanks Jack! I'm afraid the optimistic owner of #4's chair and umbrella will have a few more months before they can enjoy the beach!
