Default Colour on a grey day

We went out for a walk today and it was very grey and misty. The red twigs really stood out against the drearyness.

These mini pine cones attracted me because the water running down them was being stained gold by their colour.

Nice shots. The pine cones almost look like something else at first glance...maybe a snake's head.

Thanks Preacherman, they were the only colourful things I saw that day it was so grim, maybe I should have stayed at home with some Ferrero Rocher instead.
