I'm with the others, the mist and the colors in the first one get my vote. Both are great, but the first one "grabs" me more.

Definately the first. The mist adds an air of intrigue and you are captivated by what you think you can see but are not sure. The branch serves to anchor the entire scene and keep you focused. To me the first falls into the category of 'photograph', something a photographer with a great eye would take. AWESOME
The second, while a great photograph is rather ordinary and seems more of a 'snapshot' variety. Something anyone with a camera will snap a photo of. Just an FYI, you have a few dust bunnies that need to be taken out of your images before printing. To prevent them showing in future photos I suggest having your lens and possibly sensor cleaned.
