Topaz Adjust has a setting for almost every photograph - be it dark and shadowy, or bright and upbeat! But TA can leave you intoxicated with its first effects on your photos - it is almost overwhelmingly good! Once you have gotten past that initial rush, TA responds in surprisingly subtle ways - 'less is more' is a good strategy with TA.

I normally apply several different pre-set values, and decide which one I like the most - or even double-up the number of applications. And complete the post-processing by using Blending layers in Overlay mode, set to Smart-filters if possible - and then add a High Pass filter at 5 pixels to sharpen. The flickr group on TA has a great deal more info and insight.

Nicely done! I like the effect you got on all of these. Topaz comes with some pretty good presets but like you said, you can be as creative with it as you want, from real subtle to over the top. TFS.

Topaz adjust is a plug-in for photoshop - works with elements too. Might work with other stuff but I only know about photoshop!
