Default Trying Something New!

Hello DPS Family! Well earlier this week Glava shared an interesting Smoke creation.
I've always wanted to try this medium, so I read up on how to do it and here are my 1st meager attempts. I'll refine my set up and get better at this, I just love digital Post Processing, so this is right up my alley.

My 1st attempt.

Number 2 is a little out there I admit, a Rorschach inkblot test, but I kind of liked it anyway.

Well, I hope you enjoy these, I'll keep trying
Have a Blessed Day!
Michael

Its on my to-do list too, but I've not tried this yet.
I like them Michael, I half close my eyes and can see butterlies, I'm certain you won't be stopping with just these two and I look forward to seeing more, great job

Hi Michael
Superb!! I thought we would get some some outstanding examples of smoke photography. I don't think I started it off but might have resurrected it for a while. Your shot show real thought behind them. Lovely colours and symmetry. Yes, I will be putting some more on line as I hope you will too. Very well done, my friend.

I see spiders in your Rorschach inkblot! (What else, considering who the photographer is!) What fun, Michael, to see you trying your hand at this. Great job!

Hi Michael. These are very interesting shots to me. Love the colours and the effect. I have not gotten into too much post work besides a little sharpening curves etc, but you inspire me to try more.

Thanks Helen, If I can just get my flash under control, I think I'll get some better results.

Thank You Paul, I really enjoy the PP aspect of Digital Photography and this type of shooting can be fun to work with, It's all about imagination and shooting smoke is like looking at clouds, you never know what you'll see.
