Winter Rain Storm (San Diego, CA)

I went out to the Oceanside Pier, while the rain storm let out for a few minutes and took these shots. The wind was really howling and alarge rain cloud was just off the coast.

For me this is a trip down memory lane! I grew up in Vista and Fallbrook, so the Oceanside pier is a very familiar place. I love the beach in winter, don't you? Those powerful waves and winds are so wonderful, and everything feels so clean. Thanks so much for sharing these excellent photos -- I especially love the second one -- great composition and lighting.
