Default Jan 22 - 365 Maybe not man's best friend but one of mine.

Breeze - my minpin

Another Breezy!

I will have more pictures coming but I was on a conference call at home before heading to work and I couldn't pass up this picture. This is Breeze my champion Minpin. She was 3 times best in show and one year Best in Breed (all minpin shows nothing national)

Breeze broke her hip and only had one litter and her son is doing great as another champion. The show people and breeders wanted to breed her again after the hip but I wouldn't let them. She is not retired and lays with our other 3 dog all day and watches Soap's, eats bon bons and I just got her to quit smoking. This little girl and I have been through a lot together so I thought I would share her with you.

Lovely portrait shot Nick, and I love the commentary about her. She's very sweet! A real winner for sure.

She's beautiful, and a beautiful shot of her, too. I love her pose in the first one.
I've never known any Minpins, but had a very not-Mini Pin when I was growing up, and she was such a sweetheart (and also quite handy at keeping door-to-door folks from hanging around too long). I've thought that if I do ever get a dog again that a minpin would be on my short list
... and I'm proud of her for giving up smoking!

She looks like a show winner with her alertness and posture. Excellent lighting!!
