I've been needing to get a job this semester and wasn't really sure what to do. This morning a lady from the O'Colly came and talked during class about opportunities at the college newspaper. So during lunch I went over to the daily newspaper, the Daily O'Collegian, and talked to the editor and the photo editor. They asked to see a few shots that I had taken, so a few hours I came back and showed them. I showed them a few and they were pretty impressed. Long story short, I start next Wednesday
I'm pretty excited. However! What kind of thread would this be if I didn't post a shot, so here we go.----- Proud Souls ----- I believe in ghosts and democracy And that each man should leave his legacy. Be that mans work great or be it small. I don’t believe in everything in life like The designated hitter or that diamond rings Will make love last forever for one and all ---- These lyrics were written by a personal favorite of mine, and a alumni of Oklahoma State, named Jason Boland. The American Dream isn't always as it seems, whether its the freedom we have, to marriage and baseball. What you never hear about are those not livin the dreams, those who are tore down and are struggling to survive. People like that are all around, either stuck in a temporary rut of depression, or maybe they have been like that all their lives, that really isn't the issue, what the issue really is, that there are people who are dealing with tough times out there. So, no matter what has you down, whether its the designated hitter or that diamond ring, you'll pull through, keep looking up. This is one of the last shots in my walkin around campus at dawn adventure, shot with the D90 with the 50 1.8. Enjoy ya'll ![]() Proud Souls ---- ![]() Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125) Aperture: f/1.8 Focal Length: 50 mm Focal Length: 50.4 mm ISO Speed: 400 Exposure Bias: 0 EV ----- Thanks for checkin it out, thanks ![]() -KT
