just thought I would pop in and say hi to all my wonderful friends here. Those that remember me know that eagles are usually the subject of my photos but yesterday I was both thrilled and surprised to find a red tailed hawk down on the pier. The little guy was in an awkward position to photograph and refused to turn around for me. He was facing the water so I could not get to the other side. He did not stay around long either and I was truly fortunate to capture this picture before he flew off into oblivion. Well a backside view is better than nothing ..
![]() Then I found this guy taking a bath in a secluded corner behind a rock... ![]() the set would not be complete without a comical seagull doing the usual balancing act.. ![]() or the little guy flying into a tree on my way back..

Hi Barb.. You have been missed around here..Your work has been missed too and these captures show why. So much detail. Wow for each one of them. The gull one is my favourite. Perfect timing. Nice to see you back Barb.

great set! .. The hawk so crisp, the crow (?) clean as a whistle, the little guy in the bush so at home.. but the gull's feet position is a fantastic capture .. really nice
