Default First Photos of 2010

Wow, it's been awhile since I've been on here! These are two photos from several I took this morning of an amarylis my mom has. I used my Pentax K200D on macro setting, and did a few touch ups in PSE7.

Very nice Shelley. Just like Hayward, I like the BG. It really makes the color stand out nicely.

Thank you both. I had tried some pics of it in front of the front window with the sunlight coming in, but found it to be too light. Then I opted for the black background with the light from the back window and liked those shots much better!

Wow! A fabulous way to begin a new year. These are stunning even to me with poor vision...they must be amazing with good vision

Very nice and detailed. The black background really makes them pop.

Very nice. The black really does make the pink "pop."
Amarylis are such fun - you can practically watch them growing.
