Default One to One

Thought I'd share this as it seemed to generate some interest on my Flickr site. It's a little different for me - I'm trying to branch out into new arenas in my PP world gradually, just for fun.

I bought my first Mac last weekend & took out their "One to One" annual membership at the same time. A bargain $99 - lets me attend as many hour long, one on one sessions with their Mac experts at any store for the whole year, as well as in-store workshops.

Anyway, I took a couple of pics outside the store when I was there for my first session on Sunday: One of the storefront & the other of one of their experts at a table outside (in the mall) with a couple of customers for their One to One session.

I did some selective coloring on the images, and after much procrastination & fiddling in trying to make them into a collage with some others, I randomly tried my hand at superimposing them instead.

The result was this & I really liked it!

Day 17 (Jan 17th): One to One

Very nice, Nicky! That is really a top-quality image. It looks like it belongs as part of an ad campaign. I think it's great that you are diving into new areas - it is so easy to become complacent and comfortable with photography.

If this is only the beginning of your new adventure into photography Nicky, I dread to think where you will end up. I clocked this on your Flickr and was blown away. I love it. Trouble is it shows me just how much more I don't know yet! Great. PAUL

Hi Nicky - that's right ... I haven't seen a thread from you in a while and look what you came up with ... and excellent result of hard work and creativity on your part .... it's not too busy and maybe Apple can use it as a promotion for their One to One classes .. it has their logo on it already ... way to go

Very nice, I like how you have the compositions in each shot laid on top of one another. Intersting image Nicky.

this is fantastic shot Nicky! so many things are going on but you somehow pieced it together to put a coherent and wholistic shot..there is so much detail but not at all busy..very nice PP and your patience paid off..
