Default Cascading Water - Part 3

Although there is no cascading water in these shots they are part of the shoot from last Friday. These were taken at the top of the small gorge where it levels off. I have b/w conversions and had a very hard decision to make on which ones to share. Needless to say I went with color.

I could not get the whole tree reflection in the shot as I had my "back against the wall"

Another great set from that collection. I always love reflection shots & these are lovely Duane - I think the 3rd is my favorite, I love the lighting and how you composed it. All beautiful though.

You were right Duane. These are the best of the series IMHO. The reflection is awesome buddy!

The last is my favorite on these. But I do wanna make one observation:

Ummmmmm...rather colorful b/w, aren't they? Or are you meaning something other than "black/white"?

Nice set. I would have to say despite you not having the whole reflection of the tree in (not always possible - I know I've been in that situation too) my favourite is the first. I like the bareness, the lines converging to the left of the tree, and the variety of textures between the tree, the grass, the rocks, the patch of snow and the water.

I posted this in the other thread, but looks like the images are not coming up?
Here are few images of cascading water I took in Hawaii:

Did some post processing to the first one by increasing the saturation to brighten up the colors of trees:

What a dilemma -- they're all great. I love the first one though -- excellent composition that would fit right in with Paul and Patrick's "triangles" theme!
