Pregnant Smoke
Haven't done any smoke shots for a while but thought I would spend some time today to see if I can improve on my last lot. It's amazing how the plume of smoke from a joss stick swirls and twists. I photographed this shot from about 1m away and just a slight cough disturbed the air. Many shots take on all sorts of shapes from life and I thought this one should be named as Pregnant Smoke.

I really like that. Very clever. To me the smoke looks like the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus.

What a Great Capture! and Your title is perfect for it. I've never tried this type of shot, but with winter upon us here, I think I'll give it a try as well. I really admire this shot!

what is the source of your smoke and how did you deal with removing it from the premises?
