Hello All! I've been a member for some time but this is my first post. I hope you enjoy these, they were fun to shoot. See if you can find some extras in them. All are real pics straight out of the camera.

Interesting. You are from my school of photography, playing with concepts and trying things!! I belive strongly in this approach to photography and think it is somthing that many of us do not do enough. I have just written a blog post called Get out and shoot that kinda covers what you have done here.
As you know, the cost is nothing, no processing fees, just your own time and passion. The beauty of these shots, as well as being abstract is you can use them for boarders or backgrounds to other photographs. Thanks again for sharing the shots and a click of the camera is never wasted!!!!! |

Thanks for the comments. These are actually not the ones I wanted people to see because the compression when I uploaded using the embed change the pics. when I edited them it created a new thread with the same name. Hope you look at that thread the colors aren't funky but still pretty. And I did check out the blog page also, nice work.

They were taken on the expressway at night, I was the passenger (lol). Here are the settings I used on one of the pics most are relatively the same...
Model: Canon EOS 50D ISO: 100 Exposure: 2.0 sec Aperture: 5.0 Focal Length: 130mm Flash Used: No They were all taken while moving. Here is the "secret" after snapping the shot I slowly turned the camera 180 degrees, this is something I have wanted to try doing ever since I first saw long exposures of car lights. But some of these were messed up while uploading using the embed, the real ones are on this thread http://digital-photography-school.co...you-think.html. Thank you for the nice comments. |

MODS could one of you please merge this thread with the other thread of the same name? I would like the pics on this page deleted and the pics from the other page to be kept. The compression of the embed changed the 1st and last pics on this page and when I tried to edit it created a second thread.
TIA |
