Default couldn't get outside today at lunch

It was one of those days where I couldn't quite get to lunch on time and my felllow managers who opened were set to leave at 5 so I just decided to stay at the store and shoot some of the tropical plants in our greenhouse....I used to 105mm macro lens at either f2.8 or F4 depending on the situation but was trying to isolate my subjects and make the area around them soft..plus I was shooting handheld so I couldn't raise the f-stop any more regardless....the available light had me shooting anywhere from 1/20th to 1/100th but from memory, it seems that most were in the 1/40th area...these shots are sooc.....

Very nice, I like the softness in the first and fourth shots and the composition of the third shot. The first is todays winner for me.

thank you Angela, I like the first shot also but wish that the white anthurium in the right background wasn't there...kind of distracting

I just love seeing your macros Patrick and all of these are excellent. I pick the last one as my favourite from this lovely selection. Great work as usual bud.

Dave.

You are fortunate to have so many photo ops at your finger tips..I could spend hours in that place. The 1st shot is beautiful and the 3rd has a good composition! Nice set Pat!

Ah, Patrick, for me that fourth one is just exquisite. Something about the way the petal curves along the lower edge just makes me say ahhhhhh. So glad you made good use of your lunch break!
