Default Somebody Take Me Home

Somebody Take me Home
-----
I don't wanna go out tonight
But I can't be alone.
Standing underneath this broken street light
Can't somebody take me home.
Somebody Take Me Home

This isn't about just wanting to go home, its about the lonely feeling we all have sometimes. Loneliness, that is what I hoped this shot would convey. I know it is hard to see the silhouette, but I meant it like that. Everyone feels loneliness, some hide it away, some feel left out even when in a group full of friends. Confront loneliness, whether it is yours or someone else's, it may change your, and it may change them. Don't leave it up to someone else to attempt to fix, so today, think about it. Call that friend or relative who may be just drifting, ask them genuinely how they are, they will appreciate it.

This is another one of those shots, I took it with a specific motive and I think it has payed off for me. The silhouette was added in PP to complete what I wanted to do with the shot. I've had this one goin around for a long time. This shot is my tribute to an album that changed my life. Rollercoaster by Randy Rogers Band is one of the most single influential things in my life and has seen me through times of change, sadness, and happiness. Shot with a Nikon D90 with a 50mm F1.8.

KT... somthing about the way you write... it just touches home for me.
That quote up there... just wonderful. I totally agree. Your written word
is another reason I look forward to your posts... your photos just add
a whole new level to them.

Fantastic shot... you portrayed loneliness very well.
Thanks for sharing this...

Thanks Nikki, I take shots to invoke feelings in people, and I try to write about things I feel strongly about. I'm glad atleast someone gets the enjoyment and gets the feelings I put into it Thanks again Nikki
