...for something to post on DPS!!
If you recall, my trip to Germany yielded some pretty cools shots. Here are a couple more from the frozen spider web I found. As some of you may know, I like to coin my own terms to describe some of my shots (hydro-bokeh and croposition, to name a few). This one is no exception. I call it, "arachna-bokeh." ![]() ...and yes, this is dew that froze on a spider web overnight. Check out the large size on Flickr to see the detail!! ![]() ...and last but not least, my daughter, Emma, AKA the first victim of my Nikkor 85mm, f/1.4. Daddy is in trouble!!! ![]() Can you guess her favorite color??? ![]() Thanks for looking!

I checked the large versions and that spider web looks like it is made of diamonds! The first two photos are amazing and gorgeous, but the last two just delight my heart. What a treasure your Emma is! Looks like she is ready to try anything, as long as she can wear pink (and have Dad close by!) Thanks for sharing her with us, and I certainly hope that Spartacus behaves himself around her!

I like the arachna-bokeh you have going in the first shot, good one! The web makes for good graphics, I like the composition here and Little Emma riding her bike is charming, love her smile.

arachna-bokeh... it may catch on Jim.
That frozen web shot is fantastic... the colors are awesome. But I would have to say that Emma steals the show. She is adorable! All little girls go through their "pink" phase... my daughter (at age 11) just decided that pink is no longer her favorite color... it too that long. I love the shot of her on her bike... awesome! Congrats on your new lens... it looks like a keeper.
