Wow, lucky me to be the first to comment! I love these, Ian! Both are great, but the colors in that linear bokeh of the first are so gorgeous, and I love all the little twirly things on the branches, as well as your cute little friend. Great job!

A couple of great shots Ian, like the DoF with the woodpecker so sharp and clear.

Very colorful and interesting little fellow Ian! I love the bokeh in the background in the 1st one, both are very nice.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Thumbs up

Both great shots. I especially like the separation of the background in the 1st one.

He is so cute Ian..
In the first one... the background almost looks painted
because of the awesome DoF.

Great bird shots Ian ... Twitchy little buggers aren't they ? Stand still a second little bird !

Good job getting a clear view thru the branches and twigs and I agree with everyone about you DoF .. very cool in both of them.

Vin

Nice bird you have captured there Ian have never seen one of these before, love the bokeh and the composition in the first, looks like he is ready to dig a hole in that branch, cheers Steve.
