Default Father winter has come back

Saturday I took a walk into the silence of this snowy landscape. I was alone, just me and Mother Nature.

My path is covered with snow:

The silent path

This frozen twig looks like a caterpillar to me:

Caterpillar of ice?

Icy snow, strange shapes:

Spinal snow

Some hundreds of meters lower, water is already flowing in this HDR (maybe excessively postproduced, I admit it):

Go with the flow

Thank you for watching

That first one is just beautiful. It's one of those fotos that you just want to look at. You can almost feel the cold. Very nice.

chrean ,

Really like the first two . The perspective of the snow covered icicle is great .

Great series, the walk turned out in your favor I would say. The first 3 are excellent.

These are gorgeous! Good contrast and exposure. Very well done. The 2nd really does look like a caterpillar. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you everyone for kind comments!
To be honest, when I came back home and looked at my captures I didn't think there were good ones to save...
