Happens to be a disused hospital building as the operations have shifted to a more convenient location for the local residents. So it was left empty for a decade while authorities are looking for ways to use it for other purposes such as holiday chalets/hotels/private club.

During that time, some youths just cannot help but to destroy the environment and the grafitti just gave the whole place a sense of dread. Ghost stories did not help.

That's why when the workers are sent to the place to spruce it up, they have to light incense and pray for safety from the spirits.
