Default Old, Rusty and Redundant.

Walking along Salford Quays, Manchester, England. Saw these old mooring hooks and couldn't resist the shot. PAUL

Old, Rusty and Redundant. I've been feeling a lot like that lately! But, like fine wine and patina, some things just get better with some age. I like this shot, especially the arcs the hooks have worn on the dock

Love Mike's comment above! But a very interesting shot Paul - looks like you had fun in Salford. It's amazing what lies about waiting to be photographed - 99% of folk would walk past this and not even notice it. Lovely capture, great rusty textures.

Brother Paul, I really am intrigued with the last few posts you've made. Your dad's old tools and the Old Rusty and Redundant mooring hooks. I can relate to Mike's comment myself... Thanks for bringing out the beauty in something as overlooked and common as mooring hooks. Great shot bro!
