Default Frozen Fog

Yes, fog does freeze when the temps drop after it has formed, the moisture latching onto everything makes for some very interesting sights.

Frozen Fog 1
The long needled pine trees looked really lovely.

Frozen Fog 2
The Queen Anne's Lace looked more bizarre than usual with it's coat of white prickles.

Frozen Fog 3
Some weeds were more heavily coated than others, I suppose it corresponded with how heavy the fog was in different areas.

Frozen Fog 4
I get the heavier fog/thicker coating, but I have no clue as to why some weeds and even trees were only frosted on one side. I guess mother nature just likes to have her little pranks.

I love this kind of frost. Our weatherman said we were going to get some yesterday, so I got up really early...just to find it was raining
These are beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely captured with great depth of field, making the subject stand out.

All are great, but 2nd is the best. Now I regret that I did not want to take pictures.
