Default Two pics, four months of learning, one big thank you!

DPS has been pretty much a daily must-read for me, and I've read a lot of good critique and advice on my photos and others.

So, I want to share two shots if I may. The subject matter is the same, my Jungle Carpet Python. Her name is Zoot. She is awesome.

Here is shot #1, taken on September 3rd of last year:

Here is shot #2, taken today:

Eye of the Beast

I think I've improved on my lighting, post processing, composition, pretty much everything in four short months. I'm doing a Project 365 right now, and I can't wait to see what I learn over the next 11!

Thanks DPS and it's members!

excellent shots! I'd say that all the hard work has paid off. Good luck with the project.

I have been following DPS for a long time, this post triggered me to set up an account.

I love seeing pictures of snakes! Very nice. The improvement is obvious. I own three snakes, so I know that getting the colors right can be tricky. It's especially difficult for me with my salmon pastel boa constrictor.

I have a ball python, a northern pine snake, and the boa constrictor (BCI). Now I have an excuse to spam the forums with pictures of them.
