Today I went to the beach to shoot. The weather was nice (74) but it was a little hazy. I learned alot about exposure today because I took about 250 shots and about 220 of them were over exposed. I was using aperture priority mode, but I guess I had it too far open because most of my shots were white. Here are my favorites from the day. This was a cool shell that looks like it has been dragged through the sand.


This is the pattern under the shower head at the community shower.


This bird was chasing me around.


I blew this picture out, but I like the way messing with the exposure and color balance made this come out.

Thanks. When a picture is a wash I like to play with the color options to give it some style.
