Default A talented friend ( Part 1 )

A little while back I took some photos for an old friend who carves decoys . For years he's been carving these beautiful creations and had no record of them for his scrapbook .

Thought I'd share his work with you all

-John

Your friend does beautiful work and should definitely hire you to photograph them.

Thanks ! For an old pal...no charge . It was good practice for me playing with manual settings and lighting .

Hayward ,
Much thanks ...I will pass on the compliments . He recently did a bunch for holiday gifts and got no photos of them either . I told him to let me know when the next lot is done and I'd drive down to get shots for him .

Thank you skyline , it took several tries to get everything to finally look right . He will be thrilled to know so many like his work . Got to make me one of those light tent things !
