Default Going to the zoo, zoo, zoo

As a birthday treat (for lucky me) took the kids to the zoo today.
Here are some shots, had a few problems as all the creatures were either behind glass or thick mesh fencing.

What a fun birthday! I love that red panda -- I've never seen one before -- and the close up of the chameleon is delightful. Thanks for sharing your wonderful outing with us -- hope the kids enjoyed it too!

Gorgeous shots, Paula!! Good, standout zoo shots are few and far between...and you got 4 of them right here! Love the chameleon, and the lions are wicked sharp!! Well done!!

Well first Happy Birthday Paula! Great set of pictures, I too have never seen a Red Panda, all of these came out very nice!

Thanks Brian, the Panda is very pretty I think.
It was high up in the tree keeping a close watch on a keeper down below who was cleaning out the enclosure.
I've got another shot of it with it's paw over it's eyes in a "I'm shy" pose
