Lightbulb The Righteous Path

The Righteous Path
-------------------------------------
Trying to hold steady on the righteous path
80 miles and hour with a worn out map
No time for self-pity or self-righteous crap
Trying to stay focused on the righteous path
--------------------------------------
Thanks to the Drive by Truckers for the song lyrics.

Its how life is, you don't always have time to stop and smell the roses, and you just have to wing it sometimes. 80 miles per hour with a worn out map, you know what it feels like. Just keep focused on that righteous path. This shot earned its name with the contrasting colors of the red versus the blue lights. The picture is split in dominance of the blue and red, the trees are symbols of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil. That is just what I saw and what was going through my head, but art is always up for interpretation and I won't stop you. I shot this several minutes before the early lights of dawn hit with my Nikon D90 and its 50mm f1.8. I hope ya'll will enjoy the shot!

I like the Drive By Truckers, too. "Ghost to Most" is my favorite song of theirs.

Very nice photo, good story, and good work tying it into the lyrics.

Very nice. With a little work it could also be a view from a distant planet with 3 suns.

Ain't it true that we all need to learn to slow down sometimes. I'm glad you like the shot and the rest of my posts too Thanks Nikki

Thanks to everyone else who checked out the shot too, comment or not!
