Can someone guide me why the pictures are getting distorted while uploading - please see the second picture. Today from morning I had this problem and got two to upload after several attempts.

I was able to see your pictures if I clicked on each one. I think the reason you are getting lines or broken image is the pictures are too big for this format. If you read the thread about posting your shots and use flickr, they should come out better.:

they are just around 300 KB pics and I trust they are size-wise in order that way!

I see you also struggled with your pictures.
Seems that there are people including me, struggling when uploading there pictures.
The pictures are crooked after uploading and posting it.
