Have another drink!

This morning a lady drove her SUV onto a railroad trestle about two miles from my house. She was out drinking last night and left the bar and on her way home she turned onto what she thought was a road entrence but it turned out to be railroad tracks. She drove a few hundred yards until her tires got caught in the tracks on the trestle and she was stuck. She managed to get out of her vehicle, walk down the tracks until she was on land, then called someone to help her. These are some pictures I took today; I wasn't going for anything special, btw.

ha ha ha ha - some people just shouldnt drink! (or drive). Sorry, but I think this is rather funny (my warped sense of humour??). Am glad no train was coming and that she didnt hurt no one while driving drunk.

Anyway, now that I have stopped laughing, I can manage to say: great captures by the way. You should head for a job in photojournalism. TFS and especially for giving me a good laugh.

Bad idea, drinking and driving...at least she's alive to face charges.

Great advertisement for what NOT to do when drink driving, 1) Don't drink and drive 2) if you do drive stay off train tracks. These are great shots especially the third one. I bet she was glad there were no trains coming...I would hate to see the out come if there was.

She's got a lot of charges coming towards her. The railroad had to be shut down, the fire and police were called out, and tow trucks were brought in to pull the car out. She also has DUI and a lot of fines for being on the tracks with a vehicle.
