Default The anatomy of a drip of water

The drip is forming......can see the reflection of my sidewalk and snowy yard and the sun if you look at it upside down

DSC_9511

It's starting to get spherical

DSC_9517

It's reaching critical mass

DSC_9512

It's gone....but the bokeh in the icicle is kind of cool looking....The ice is really neat looking in large but the water drops look worse...go figure

DSC_9481

I really like these shots Patrick, the progression of a water drop #3 is special. Now I really think you need to get outdoors, I think you are getting a bit bored.

Good set Patrick, patiently captured with excellent colours

And thanks to everyone who has gone to, or contributed towards the disaster in Haiti.
I have no idea if we have any Haitian members but it's an awful small world.

Hey Patrick,
these are awesome images mate. Love the way you captured a whole new formation forming, lovely sharp images and nice depth of field too. Well done on a really nice set of images.
David.
